OMT 2ton Direct Cooled Block Ice Machine is a new type of block ice machine. Different from conventional brine pool system, the direct cooling block ice machine has an aluminium grid as evaporator. Fill water into the grid and freeze directly.

The Aluminium grid is actually hollow inside which refrigerant evaporate freezing the ice block directly.
